Fourteen individuals in Seminole County are one step closer to being honored with the title of King and Queen of Mardi Gras for their work in the community.
The Krewe of Leaders announced their 2011 Royal Court of Honor at the Oviedo-Winter Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce Luncheon at Tuskawilla Country Club on Feb. 17.
The Krewe of Leaders is a 501(c)3 organization founded in 2009 that aims to recognize community leaders and instill future leaders through service.
“I’m very proud of our Royal Court because thousands and thousands of hours of community work go into that,” Krewe of Leaders Founder and President Mary Alice Wilder said. “The thing I really want to emphasize is the four cities: Longwood, Casselberry, Winter Springs and Oviedo are being recognized.” Read more…
